You could try the CCA request

No need for a CCA request, it's covered under an SAR
We have just send a SAR off
Click here for Martins (MSE) advice on who to contact with Debt Issues - YOU HAVE NO REASON TO USE A FEE PAYING DEBT MANAGEMENT COMPANY- THEY CANNOT DO ANYMORE FOR YOU THAN THOSE LISTED IN MY LINK ABOVE.

All information given by myself is offered informally and without prejudice - if in doubt seek help from a qualified and insured professional
  • Comments noted and thanks. Now say MBNA agree to settle at 20% and i go for it assuming all is above board have it all watertight in writing etc. I then have another dilema. The £2800 needs paying back to Mother in Law this money will come from cutting back on our food budget as it is quite genourous. However £520 DMP payments will then only be going to 3 RBS accounts and will exceed the minimum contractual payments that we were paying when things were "normal" obviously at this rate it will clear the debt quicker but will RBS then get "funny" with it and want us back in a "normal" account/s?
As we will then only have RBS to deal with do i negotiate with them directly thank Payplan for all their help (Was/is a life saver) and deal with RBS on my own and negotiate a payment schedule to clear the debt.
Not fussed if MBNA don't have the CCA if they are willing to settle at 20% i have no grounds to be awkward really and insist on the CCA. I would never have dreamed that they would settle at 20% considering their initial stance. I am counting my chickens a bit here as i have no confirmation from MBNA just an assurance they are looking at it and will get back to me but i have to say it sounded promising.
