Postie just brought me a £100 cheque from the daily mail name game. I had no call or text to say I had won neither! The only thing is they have spelled my surname slightly wrong... can I still put in bank or do I have to change it?

Thank you soooooo much princess pixiedust :T this couldn't have come at a better time!;)

From experience, banks are notoriously fussy and the error might prove to be a problem. I would ring them and explain the situation and ask if you can still cash it. If not, I'm sure the Daily Mail will issue you another one if you send that one back to them.

Well done on the win
Thanks to everyone who posts comps, I love winning prizes big and small

I had the same problem with a cheque from Bounty - the spelt my surname with an i instead of a u. Ended up putting it through the machine in the bank that deposits cheques and it went through fine ;)

    Well done :T
