Bathroom from B&Q want to save what I can

Hi, finally had to concede defeat to 'er Indoors, so a new bathroom, washy stuff, pooh place, tiles and floor are on the menu'.

Most likely to be the 10% off Geriatric Wednesday job at B&Q with them arranging the fitting too.

(Unless someone can suggest me a more reliable/better/easier way that is)

Any tips for extra savings, vouchers/codes etc. I should know about BEFORE I decide. :T

I am likely to pay by Credit Card (just for the protection there)

Help/Pointers Please! --- B'fore she bankrupts us! ---

Bathrooms and kitchens sales are excluded from the B&Q diamond card.
And they usually want you to have a minimum spend before they will install it for you.

whatever you do dont get them to fit it i did and had nothing but problems a 1 week fit turned into 2 months and they also managed to damage my kitchen in the process. Nice bathrooms though just think is better to find someone you trust to fit it

True that they won't include a bathroom suite with a Diamond card, not even a bath on its own. I did buy their "tradesman" white steel bath and for £60 its a really nice basic bath so don't buy a plastic bath as the cheap ones you can spit peas through them.

No worry on that! --- we are doing away with the bath (in our dotage). The main reason for updating Bathroom is so we can get a nice Shower with rail and seat in it and a Wash Basin, Khazi and Bidet will complete the scheme. More or less decided to have a 'low, tiled' shower base as well. Any advice on that sort of thing anyone?

I bought a B&Q bathroom suite and got the 10% diamond card discount.

The girl in the bathroom section, and the guy at the till both said that bathrooms were excluded but the woman from the customer service desk put it through.

What I can say is the B&Q large tiles in white are nice and I bought a box of really nice black and silver sparkly mosaic tiles 5 sheets for just under £40 for doing a border.
  • I bought my bathroom suite from Focus, before they went bankrupt. It was a good price. My oh fitted it, it wasn't difficult (he says). Walter Tipper also offered a similar price for the suite but the wait was longer. They maybe worth a try for fitting.
