Thanks for this - we have been planning on building up our annabell collection for our LO for her bday/when her baby brother or sister is born so this is great for us at the moment! Going to go into the store as they have a couple of the bits we'd like thats out of stock on the website.
Delivery online is £3.95 which I dont think it bad at all
    Thanks again

some of the toys are still cheaper elsewhere and most are only discounted by the vat reduction
Wins so far this year: Mum to be bath set, follow me Domino Dog, Vital baby feeding set, Spiderman goody bag, free pack of Kiplings cakes, £15 love to shop voucher, HTC Desire, Olive oil cooking spray, Original Source Strawberry Shower Gel, Garnier skin care hamper, Marc Jacobs fragrance.

Alot of them look like vat reductions but they're actually more than the vat.. eg £5 reduced to £4.71 whereas vat would only be £4.89
  • I agree that this isn't as good as it sounds - at least for me!
I wanted some lego for my youngest and the original prices they are quoting are well above RRP - the reduced prices are still a few pence more than rrp!
Just take a look at the Indiana Jones or Power miners lego - cheaper anywhere on the high street. Obviously the owners strict religious beliefs dont extend to not ripping people off.

As you said, not good for you, but the majority of posters have found prices to be lower than they were going to pay.

And what a sneering, offensive and unnecessary comment to end with

My apologies, did not mean to cause offence but other than stuff that had already been reduced previously I couldn't really find a genuine reduction on any of the goods I viewed.
I thought it dishonest to advertise EVERYTHING reduced when this is not the case, especially as the owner makes very public his scruples and moral views.
Upping prices in order to reduce them to a point still above rrp is not very moral in my opinion.

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
    Just received my order -

Pound puppies Happy tails £8.70 (was £20 - still that price on other retail sites),

In the Night Garden Musical Popping Pontipines £8.69 (was £19.99) Found it varied between £10 - £20 on most sites, but was £25 on one well-known retailer

Whizz Kid Whizware Bob the Builder game - £1.74 (was £17.95)

    Li'l Luvables factory bear skin - £2.61 (was £6)

That's some more xmas prezzies bought, nearly finished DD's now.
    Thanks OP :T
