Hi everybody.
Over the last few weeks we have had a number of "troll" attacks on the boards.
What is a Troll? A troll is a person that posts deliberately provocative, nasty or hurtful comments on threads. They may be a person with no previous connection to the board or someone that has created a pseudonym to get their point made.
If you should get a comment made on any thread you post asking for help and advice please realise this comment is not directed at you personally.
We really are all a lovely bunch here (oops, modest, sorry) so please ignore these nasty comments and continue to post here as normal.
what should i do if i get a comment made on my thread?
firstly do not respond to the comment as this invariably is what the person wants. At the bottom of the post, on the left hand side is a red "warning" triangle. Click this and then "send" the message that comes up. This will report the message to abuse who will review it's content and delete it.
The person we had this morning was particularly vile and nasty and please believe me is an extreme rarity here.
Above all PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE THE BOARDS. THIS SITE IS AN ASSET TO SO MANY, ESPECIALLY WHEN IT FEELS THE WORLD IS FALLING IN ON YOU. THERE IS SUCH A WEALTH OF ADVICE HERE TO BE HAD THAT THE COMMENTS OF ONE MUST NOT DETER YOU FROM AVAILING YOURSELF OF THE KNOWLEDGE HERE!!!!
It is testament to the work that martin has done and continues to do that so many people give their time knowledge and experience freely to others, without judgement, to lift people out of the depths of debt crisis
PLEASE DO NOT LET THE ACTIONS OF THE MINORITY RUIN THAT.
Kind wishes
P

Numpty - are you looking forward to your expedition down south? Change of scenery will do you the world of good and you'll come back in fighting form ready to give your creditors what for!
Horace - just read your rant about the shopkeeper yesterday. She must be rolling in money because she obviously doesn't want any new business. At least you could now set yourself up as a tourist board advisor specialising in bus routes!
Have a good day everyone and keep on bumping this thread. One life - your life - live it!0 -
I am all fired up today so watch out:rotfl:
Z - you are nosy and you know what they say "curiosity killed the cat" - I am sure there is a myriad of friendly folks who will call Numpty when he is residing at Chez Wol:D
Nargle - tourist operator specialising in bus routes that's a fab idea - only the Pershore Road isnt particularly nice and I have yet to get a daysaver ticket to hop on the No.11 which goes all around the city and is the longest bus route - I can get some information for that bus as it is already a tourist attraction:eek:
Well onwards and upwards as they say:D0 -
I am looking forward to it:j:D
Phoned CCCS about the missing payment,
they have had a problem sending out the payments
but they have contacted the creditors about it
Obviously yorkshire plank don't pass messages on to each other:mad:

Morning all - nice to see you Gunjack.I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.

What a silly bunch of bankers!!!One life - your life - live it!0 -
Apparently it's the same in other countries - but someone has made money out of it...
Perhaps I could get a job in a French supermarket, they pay better than ASDA - 'It is I, LeClerc.'
What she says, though, is absolutely true - many of the 'workers' at ASDA are graduates, or professionally trained people, who have been unable to find work in the sector most suited to their qualifications and experience, but in saying that, it is surprising how many of them really enjoy working there. All the 'staff', below the rank of manager, get along really well with each other and there is no 'snobishness' whatsoever - perhaps it's because the 'Uniform' puts everyone on the same level.
Personally, though, I just find it hard to fit in - certainly when I look at my payslip.I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
