    I feel like a pin cushion and my right arm now hurts - bloomin' nurses and their thick pointy needles, I have a wonderful vein in my right arm that usually gives up some blood but it didnt today so then nursey tries the left arm with the same results:mad: I was told to go to the phlebotomists over on the main hospital site but then another nurse took over and guess what out of my right arm spewed forth the red stuff (enough to fill 3 phials):rolleyes: I am now all set for my op - I have donated cells from my nose to check for MRSA, I have had my lungs checked, my heart checked, my blood pressure checked but it went rocketing skywards as soon as I clapped my eyes on the machine:rolleyes:, I have had 3 lots of eye tests including ultrasound (its kind of strange having ky jelly splodged on my eyelids) oh and there's the blood too and last week I had to give them a sample from my built in waterworks:rolleyes:

    Lunch today was 1 med Caramel Macchiato, 2 slices of toasted fruit bread with butter and an egg n cress sarnie - total cost £6.70 - Horace price 70p:j and I still have 7 books of LVs remaining:cool:

    Oh gosh Horace. That all sounds truly horrid! I am very squeamish, I hate that prodding around looking for blood bit. I'm convinced the only reason I'm scared of needles is from a nurse jabbing me about 5times before she found any.

    Hope once you've had your op you have to put up with less of this stuff.

    Thank goodness for macchitos! I think cake and chocolate might also help in the circumstances.
