Hi folks
I have been out and about today - I filled my car with petrol for the first time in 2 months:j), went to a wedding fair in Kings Norton in some beautiful tudor buildings that had been restored thanks to winning that BBC programme Restoration. I made a few contacts and have found a cheap place to eat - their cafe: Piggy here had a pot of tea (enough for 3 cups), a cornish pasty with salad and strawberries and cream cost £5.50:cool:
Went to see my parents and the first thing that mum said to me was "there is a blue box in the bedroom, it contains 2 wills and 2 lots of funeral arrangements which MUST be adhered to" - I resisted the temptation to go upstairs and look. I am confused though - mum doesnt want a funeral so how am I going to give her a send off? Does she go on the compostheap or what?
(we have discussed the compostheap many times).
I came away from mums' with a bag of spuds that mum dug up for me and a large george foreman grill which she has used 4 times. Its also time I went on a diet too because mum asked me if I was pregnant:eek: I'd have a job..and it would be an immaculate conception if I was:eek::eek:0 -

Hello all ... well Horace & Numpty anyway

Perhaps your parents want to go for total recycling ie anything that can be used will be & then remains to medical science ? We had a cheerful memorial service instead. As cheerful as possible anyway.0 -
I won't donate them to medical science - I have seen what med students do and I don't want my parents to sit in jars on the shelves of a goulish museum or be lost (like bham uni did with their skeleton of the tallest woman - they lost her, how how do you lose a 7ft skeleton
