    Hi everybody.

Over the last few weeks we have had a number of "troll" attacks on the boards.

What is a Troll? A troll is a person that posts deliberately provocative, nasty or hurtful comments on threads. They may be a person with no previous connection to the board or someone that has created a pseudonym to get their point made.

If you should get a comment made on any thread you post asking for help and advice please realise this comment is not directed at you personally.
We really are all a lovely bunch here (oops, modest, sorry) so please ignore these nasty comments and continue to post here as normal.

what should i do if i get a comment made on my thread?

firstly do not respond to the comment as this invariably is what the person wants. At the bottom of the post, on the left hand side is a red "warning" triangle. Click this and then "send" the message that comes up. This will report the message to abuse who will review it's content and delete it.

The person we had this morning was particularly vile and nasty and please believe me is an extreme rarity here.
Above all PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE THE BOARDS. THIS SITE IS AN ASSET TO SO MANY, ESPECIALLY WHEN IT FEELS THE WORLD IS FALLING IN ON YOU. THERE IS SUCH A WEALTH OF ADVICE HERE TO BE HAD THAT THE COMMENTS OF ONE MUST NOT DETER YOU FROM AVAILING YOURSELF OF THE KNOWLEDGE HERE!!!!

It is testament to the work that martin has done and continues to do that so many people give their time knowledge and experience freely to others, without judgement, to lift people out of the depths of debt crisis

PLEASE DO NOT LET THE ACTIONS OF THE MINORITY RUIN THAT.

    Kind wishes
    P

Useless idiots Numpty - you'd think your payment would all happen and be processed automatically and not be dependant on some muppet actually pressing a button

My Job Centre isn't to bad there is only 1 door in 1 out:rolleyes:
It was a securedroom though, and foundout that you can't cash your Giro at any Post office:confused:
Called into the one near my mams ,went to see her:o , and it can only be cashed at the one nearest me:confused:, and it was to late to get it cashed:mad:

Another windup today:mad:, when I sent off my token payment letters, I asked for the details to set up a Standing Order, the Loan company have sent me a payment book:confused:
At least they have replied:rotfl:and I now know the exact balance
    As of 18/06/09 £2494.05, paid off at £1 a month:rotfl:
    Heard nothing from CC clowns:rolleyes:

.....the jobcentre near me, you have to go in through one door - be admitted to a secure area where you have to wait until you are called and then they hand you a giro before letting you out through another security door to the great outdoors so that you don't walk through the jobcentre.

All that rigmarole - and the irony is, it's your own flaming money they are paying you!!! (i.e. all the taxes, National Insurance, VAT, vehicle duty etc etc that you pay all the time whether you are in or out of work!)
Someone somewhere is on to a good thing here, methinks I'm in the wrong line of business...

You will get there in the end Numpty

I am so glad I don't have to sign on anymore, instead I have my WTC which is £50 a week:eek: now I am having to struggle with the council over my HB and CTB, funny thing is they sent me an HB cheque which I have banked:D they are waiting as I am for my NI exemption certificate.

Mind you I did have to fight the jobcentre for my back to work grant as they insisted that I fill in a form which I refused to do because it meant signing back on:eek: Got the grant in the end and it is sitting in my business account:cool:
