Just remembered something from earlier - I arrived at the chamber early today so went up to their cafe (its part of my membership) where I bought a mug of coffee for 75p (should have stayed downstairs and had a free one) but I noticed something silly on the packet of sugar.
Ingredients: Sugar
Warning: May contain Milk

If the sugar packet contains sugar and its ingredients are sugar why would it contain milk?

Warning: May contain Milk
Yet another example of 'silly' legislation, H.

I remember going around the Christmas Market in Manchester - there was a chap selling hot chestnuts and there was an 'official sticker' on his stand stating that 'Products purchased here may contain nuts'.
He only sold nuts. :rolleyes:I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.

So that's why they 'print' these warnings on packets.
Now at least I know I'm not going to die a complete idiot.
