    Hi everybody.

Over the last few weeks we have had a number of "troll" attacks on the boards.

What is a Troll? A troll is a person that posts deliberately provocative, nasty or hurtful comments on threads. They may be a person with no previous connection to the board or someone that has created a pseudonym to get their point made.

If you should get a comment made on any thread you post asking for help and advice please realise this comment is not directed at you personally.
We really are all a lovely bunch here (oops, modest, sorry) so please ignore these nasty comments and continue to post here as normal.

what should i do if i get a comment made on my thread?

firstly do not respond to the comment as this invariably is what the person wants. At the bottom of the post, on the left hand side is a red "warning" triangle. Click this and then "send" the message that comes up. This will report the message to abuse who will review it's content and delete it.

The person we had this morning was particularly vile and nasty and please believe me is an extreme rarity here.
Above all PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE THE BOARDS. THIS SITE IS AN ASSET TO SO MANY, ESPECIALLY WHEN IT FEELS THE WORLD IS FALLING IN ON YOU. THERE IS SUCH A WEALTH OF ADVICE HERE TO BE HAD THAT THE COMMENTS OF ONE MUST NOT DETER YOU FROM AVAILING YOURSELF OF THE KNOWLEDGE HERE!!!!

It is testament to the work that martin has done and continues to do that so many people give their time knowledge and experience freely to others, without judgement, to lift people out of the depths of debt crisis

PLEASE DO NOT LET THE ACTIONS OF THE MINORITY RUIN THAT.

    Kind wishes
    P

Horace, your virtue is astounding :p:A:D

Just got back from Tatco & stocked up on many items on offer & this afternoon I'm going to garden centre which sent me many many bogof vouchers for herbs, plants & cutters :D Am also going on a looting mission later too :shhh: an area of land next to our allotments had a huge tree fall down & I noticed yesterday that there were lots of bricks & paving slabs lying around ... I reckon they've been dumped there so am going to pretend to be clearing up after naughty fly tipper & scavenge them for my garden ;)

Was it you H that used tohave the 'skip rat & proud of it' sig ? There's one at the end of my road & each time I walk past I think of you ... might have to sift through it when night falls :rotfl:

Yes Lula - it was me that had the signature Skip Rat and Proud of It. Although my old friend looked at me in horror when I said that I found my rugs in a bin (I have cleaned them the best I can but they still have oily marks on them but they do the job - the deafen the noise as I have laminate floors throughout).

I acquired some bright pink MDF out of a persons car (I did ask) and they have made shelves in my pantry, I got some old bed slats and they have been made into shelves for my airing cupboard, there have even been bits that I have sold for a profit:D Don't get caught taking stuff as you can get done for stealing:eek:

Acquire plant cuttings from your neighbours at the allotment, I am sure they will let you have some if you ask.

I have put yet more washing in the machine - some handwashing this time and I am using the handwash programme for the first time, so I hope my clothes will be ok:confused:

I have a stinky headache this morning too which doesnt help as my powers of concentration are zero. Happy 'spending'

Its gonna be a scorcher again later

Have you taken the weather forecasting over from clio, numpt?

I certainly hope you are right because I'm not working today and am just about to go for a 'stroll' into town - no shopping, but might get a haircut if the hairdressers is empty - not quite the weather for a 'barbe(r)cue'.
