FTB 85% LTV Payslips and Bank Statements? Which Companies to use?

Why the fixation on payslips? ALL lenders can simply see your records of cheques being cashed, an employers reference and those payslips.
In any event, Bank statements are not requested by the majority of lenders so just go for the best deal.
Im confused why you want only lenders that rely on payslips0 -
I only started my job last year so have no P60
I cash my cheques into several of my current accounts, I don't use the same one...
So my broker has said it may be hard to prove otherwise unless I get an employers reference too but they aren't used much nowadays

Exactly. And there are better deals than Abbey out there for 85% LTV. Just check out the price comparison sites or the fsa.0

Didn't you read Conrad's post above? I really don't understand this problem with payslips either. And if it really is an issue, surely the way to find out if certain providers have a problem with it is for you to call each provider rather than asking on an internet forum.

You can give different bank statements for each payment cheque. If you score low, Abbey may still ask for payslips or an employment ref!
They can also cheque your status with the revenue, although unlikely.
be up front with the lender you may get a better rate."Banking establishments are more dangerous than standing armies." Thomas Jefferson
