Can anyone tell me if Boots will redeem mistakes a day after purchase? I bought a lot of items today and the £5 off electrical coupon didn't come off the bill... it's listed as a discount on the receipt, but hasn't been taken off the total iyswim. I didn't notice it until now.

Make your own Pot Noodles using a flower pot, sawdust and some old shoe laces. Pour in boiling water, stir then allow to stand for two minutes before taking one mouthful, and throwing away. Just like the real thing!

And hope that the bargains r still there waiting 4 us! :p

Quite well put re our voucher usage creativity JT...:T but Mr B has to admit we work hard 4 our bargains, as even tho the ACM gives us the vouchers, we have to consider the human involvement (the SA's!!) in our transactions which can cause a lot of hassle & embarassment... would it not just b perfect the SS tills had no SA's hovering around & one could use as many coupons as the till allowed?:D Yes, one might have a problem when the voucher conditions had been met but still the till said 'No, No' :naughty:

JT, is it just the 2 of us awake? :o
Looks like everyone else has turned in for the night.
Mind you there are usually a few light sleepers who pop in of an evening, more fun than counting sheep.

As to the creative voucher usage, it takes lots of thought, knowledge and
research in order to get the best deals, which are worth it to us in the end.
We do save a fortune on some of the premium (over priced) items but the best deals are not easily had all of the time.
SS tills in every store would be a dream, or if not unlimited voucher usage at a manned till. :)
But hey, in the scheme of things, I think I have had some truly cracking bargains and I am so very spoilt for choice.
So, I can brave the SA's and the beeping tills most of the time as it has enabled me to have lovely skincare items,
perfumes, gifts, top ups with points, freebies, glitches etc and I look forwards to many more. :)

Oliveoyl, pop back into the store 2 morrow and explain the situation, with the receipt,
hopefully they will sort it out if you can prove you used the voucher. HTH

On the reciept the electrical item price might be different as the £5 might have come off up there rather than at the bottom. What does it say on the reciept for it?

No, good thinking, but the prices are the same as they were in the shop.

    It says on the receipt:

Total in-store saving today, including £5.00 save coupon £35.24

The total before savings/discounts would have been £338.31, the total I paid is £307.97... which is £30.24 off, not £35.24.
