Thanks, ANGEL50, for the information about the cream egg. We were in Sainsbugs yesterday evening, and didn't know about it, otherwise my 11-year old would happily have said 'Happy Easter' to the lady at CS. She'd also want to go back every day to try it again and again LOL.

Naturally we went to Boots while we were in town (Thursday is late night opening in the Maidstone, Chequers Centre branch) and I got another 3 for 2 selection of 1/2 price lipstick and lip lacquers, as well as a 17 eyeshadow and free nail varnish (daughter got a lipstick and free nail varnish) and a L'Oreal eyeshadow which was down from £4.88 to £3.88 and I then used a perky.

My Mum reckons I've got enough makeup now to last a lifetime so I really should start to wear it more often than I do. Good job she hasn't seen my whole stash :rotfl:

I won on the acm yesterday...not the 1000 points, but all 3 no7 vouchers. :j
Finally found all 3 items, a few more items to make it not so noticable, & went to the tills. First tried the self service tills, but could not work them out . It worked ok, til I had to put the coupon in to the hole, & then kept telling me I hadn't done it. Is it meant to eat them, or do you just post them?

So I gave up, & went in the huge queue for the manned tills. Handed over the peel first, a few other bits, then the line lift, then the powder.
Gave the SA the line lift voucher first, & it beeped & refused to go through. He said I had not spent enough! I did try to point out that £18+£10 (+ whatever the line lift was before 342) was more than £15, but he couldn't understand. Then he directed me off to the No 7 counter to pay. I gave up & took all my vouchers back.

What did I do wrong?
And how do you work the self service tills?

I also got two loreal eyeshadow trios with my pooeys. Thanks to whoever posted that :j . Other than that, there was nothing reduced, except two pairs of tights in extra large american tan, & both were £1.50. I left them for a large american

OOh, we have a sainsburys local 2 mins walk from school. Do they have the offer there too? Think of how many children I could [STRIKE]borrow[/STRIKE] get chocolates for. Might have to arrange a playdate or two.

It helps at the SS tills if you fold over your vouchers before putting them in the slot. I've had several occasions with the recent perkies where I've folded the vouchers, put them in the slot, and the till has told me I haven't posted them. So maybe fold them twice, and see if that registers with the till. SA at the SS tills can see that the voucher is there in the slot, so I've never had any trouble with them overriding the message on the till when I explain to them.

I have no Boots grabbits to post, as I haven't been near one since Sunday, and I'm not planning on going on a Boots spree until at least next Friday :eek: .

However, from then on for 10 days, my daughter will be on her holidays with my sister and her family, so I can (and probably will) go Bootsing every day :rotfl: :rotfl:

just come back from the worst bootsing trip ever!!!
acm only gave me the highlights voucher and my mum's card only got the highlights voucher too! no peel thingy or line thingy for me! gutted!:mad::mad::mad: no reduced SELs in both store....very rubbish clearance BUT i found loadsa makeup reduced with clearance stickers but in their original places e.g

and some pther blushers and bits.....but the Sa never let me use my pooeys so left it all as would be great woth pooey and just got the primer....
gonna give bootsing a miss for a long time now...mr b isnt giving us much to look forward to!

If You Put Your Voucher/coupon In The Slot On A Self Service Till And It Doesn't Recognise It

blow In It, It Moves The Vouchers And The Sensor Will Then Know Its There, Has Worked Everytime For Me
