Just popped to Boots to use up some perkies. I managed to get the Petal Eye Palette fo 38p and the old style File and Buffer Set for free!! My sister picked up 3 Evening Oil of Primrose on the Clearance shelf for 37p each and when she paid they came up 3 for 2 so 74p for 3 - 3 months supply!!!! I got a survey for my 38p spend lol!!!!! The SA looked none too pleased - she wrote her name on the top but as she wasn't particularly friendly I didn't mention her on the survey!

Hi everyone, not been on for a few days and trying to catch up, I just wanted to add to this list the Bourjois glass nail file which is less than £1 with the £2 off coupon piccie here

    Hi Clare

Last time the £2 voucher was on the go the glass nail file beeped so that's good to know. I tried this a few times because I had a couple of the tweezers and sharpeners and wanted something different.

Need to add the Bourjois Nail Varnish Remover to list too.

Hi Rubylou, I've not been into Boots since the new vouchers are doing the rounds but last the last time these were out I managed to use it on the nail files with no beeps in my local. Looks like it's just another eg of Boots' illogical logic!!! :D Will report back tomorrow if it works but I'm not holding out much hope now!

Went to my local on way home from work & ACM was out of order!!! Argghh!!

Need to spend my perkies in next 24hrs, so was hoping to try the "mega shop" inc the glycolic peel & humiliating powder, if I was lucky enough to get the vouchers, but my plans were scuppered! Will just have to make the effort to slot a quick trip to another branch inbetween packing for my hols (maybe I can persuade DH to take me for some *cough* forgotten important toiletry item!?!)

There were a few reduced items on the shelves, including

Boots Mediterreanean Skin Treats for £9.XX - there were a couple of these, but I didn't realise how expensive they originally were, so I left them.

I got the Extracts Minis set for £4.56 (reduced from £6.85)
3 x Cocoa Butter & Mallow Body Lotion @ 50p each (hoped the 342 might have worked, but no such luck)
3 x Stayperfect Lip Laquers (Plumberry) @ £4.75 each (still full price on SEL)
Total £10.56 paid, used a Perkie & gained 40 points & a pooey - not bad for £41.20-worth of goods. I realise I could have split it down into 2 x £5 transactions for 2 pooeys, but I forgot about that, thinking the 3 x body lotions might have gone through as 342! Silly me!! Not that the pooeys are worth getting, anyway!

I did hear the SA tell another customer that they didn't have any mascaras left, so I imagine that was the one with the voucher.

Fingers crossed I find a working ACM tomorrow & either a willing SA or a SS machine, so I can get rid of my last perky!

    S xx

Thanks rubes x I picked this up earlier and put it back thinking it wasn't working :o :rotfl:

For the peeps that haven't got any vouchers from the ACM, I'd say to keep trying. The machines were still printing loads (not No7 tho') and a few were different to Wednesday's. Like a 250 pointer for Boots expert total body range. Off to look for it on dot com ;)

Will you have a look and see if you can see the Bourjois pencil sharpener pls. I didn't look properly admittedly but I don't remember seeing any. Wondered if they still did them.

Hope you get the nail file I quite like these think they are cute and novel looking.

    Hiya

The Boots med skin treats .. I bought 4 today @ £3.67 each = 75% off as were nearly £15... so keep a look out, incase price drops down.

No way is the pooey till spit worth going out of your way to spend £5+ for each transaction... someone on here said soon, we might get another till spit + a voucher = bring it on .. but hopefully good ones, if mr.b wants our money.

If you are trying to get a humiliating voucher from ACM, be warned you might not get one yet, as there are not meant to be out til 30th... + I don't think anyone on here got one today + I didn't + nor did my mam.

I seen the accessories today for the pooey .. but out of stock for the pencil sharpener that was £1.99 so I gathered the vouchers did work on them... I asked SA does the voucher work on the nail varnish remover, she came back + said no! just coloured cosmetics .. I thought yeah right of course it works on accessories, lol.. but I didn't get any, cos I didn't need any, esp having to pay extra towards them... not to mention I haven't worn nail varnish in over 10 yrs or so lol
