Do Kays take discount off your order or refund credit card?

I want to order 5 of the same items costing about £400 in total and I think I can use a 20% code to make it £320 
Do any shoppers know if they will first deduct the discount and charge my cc or will they charge the full amount and then either refund the difference to my card or worse put as a credit into my account.

They should charge you the reduced price - If they don't then it hasn't worked as far as I know
