there's a job this week in another department - coincidentally in the same one I have an application in currently for another job.

It's full time, fantastic salary (even more so for local authority) and when I look at the main components I fit the bill. When I then put them back together into a whole job, it reads a bit :eek: and I'm wondering if it's a step too far. Part of it is managing a small and diverse team. I last managed a team in 1996 and I was pants at it, my one and only foray into staff management.....

turns out i *only* a mile and a half / 1.6 miles at lunch and it takes me half an hour and im always knackered after it.

damn i must be so unfit.

Buffet ok but people kept taliking to me!
I thought it was going to be a drop in session anytime from 5-8. Got there at 5.20 and it was 'buffet and networking' til 6 and then 4 presentations until 8pm. :eek:
Quite good actually and glad I went.
Then dropped in on DD2 on way home for a glass of wine. (trying not to drink at home alone at the moment.:D )

yeah twitzor, but its only a mile n a half :S

although it is kinda up round and over a railway and the canal kinda thing.

just outta shape like. gona start to try and up it a bit as the months go on - i only have a certain amount of time which kinda limits it.

tryin to get the OH to go out for walks at night but she's still having the busy worktime.

just need to cut out takeaways - or seriously cut down, its always wed-thurs we have something and it certainly doesnt do the bank balance any good.
