Student Loans

Hey,

I have heard mixed things about student loans in terms of having to pay them off asap.

Basically i was wondering whether its worth upping the amount im paying off so that i can get it out of the way quicker, or to keep the minimal payment and put the difference in a savings account.

How much does a Student Loan reflect on Credit rating??

The Student Loan has an interest charge of 2% per annum at present.
If you have any other debts they are likely to charge more than 2%.
If they do then you ought to pay them off before you statr to overpay the Student Loan debt.
