On saturday night I donated £10 to comic relief....however yesterday I got an email from WorldPay saying thanyyou for your donation of £25!!!!!!
Obviously I was not happy about this at all and forwarded the email to donation@comicrelief.com saying I wanted a refund.
Comic releif replied with an apology saying:
"Hello
Many apologies for the inconvenience caused. The error below was caused by a minor glitch in the computer system, which has since been rectified.
I can confirm that the sum of £15 has been fully refunded to your account.
Kind Regards

Can the BBC not get anything right!
I wonder if this is why they raised more money than ever before.

This time when raising money, they rounded the figures - online was £25, texting was £5. Did you request £15 to donate?0

If you read the email again, this time slowly, they have refunded you the £15 that they claimed in error and have not taken £15 from your account.2014 Target;

Not yet.
We sent an e-mail out to all our friends and Church and put a note on Facebook asking people if they would like to order cakes from my little boy.
He then spent Friday night, Saturday morning and Sunday afternoon making cakes and has raised £75!!!
He will be paying it in through the post office.

I had a lot of trouble letting the website let me donate £5 rather than £25. Everytime I went to the confirm page it had changed to £25. It started working again after about 5 minutes though
Just because you made a mistake doesn't mean you are a mistake.0
