Another CCA question

I was paying Redcastle recoveries each month from the time I recieved the assignment letter from the OC saying it had been assigned to Pheonix Recoveries and gave Redcastle as the communication address until the day a CCA request went into default and the 12+2 letter was sent - at the same time I was also getting letters from Frederickson International chasing the same debt (with the amount reducing at each letter by what I had paid Redcastle in the same timescale)
Today I get a letter from Frederickson International's "solicitors" Bryan Carter & Co saying they are putting me in court next Tuesday if I don't cough up. So do I send another CCA request - or one saying the account is in dispute?
Redcastle returned my postal order and letter with a compliments slip saying this account is now closed and has been passed back to the client, nothing else (although I still sent them the 12+2 letter.)
All suggestions gratefully recieved.

Don't know what to suggest but ... where Bryan Carter is concerned ... you do need help. As you will likely know already. Carter's are known for doing this shall I say.
However, is the letter you've received actually from a court? My understanding if a court action is taken, you receive court papers.Any help, opinions, views I may hold those are my own. Respect them as you would expect the same in return. Offered freely, is gleaned from a lifetime of experiences, knowledge gaining. Passed on to benefit others. I may be direct, ask you questions but those are to help you. Up to you if you choose to take it. I won't judge you either way.

Guess it is worth another £1 to see what they have!0 -
Yes. 'Threatogram'.
Though maybe worth while Googling BC, you will be amazed what hits you get on this score. Bash me if you already did that but otfhers may find it useful.

lol - I did that after you said they are known on here - makes for interesting reading - since their given date is Monday I think I will splash out on special delivery tomorrow, just to make sure it gets there on time.0

Yes, I read about them elsewhere a while ago, shall we say.
