Anyone know who can help, if Payplan advised they can't??

Hi all,
I had recently applied to PayPlan with regards to clearing my debt, only they have just got back to me and said they can't help as all my creditors are DCA's and not ones that they deal with......I thought they dealt with all, but hey! My next question, therefore is does anyone know of any similar companies (that don't charge) that I can approach who may be able to help?
If I try and deal with it myself, I doubt I can get the interest stopped etc....really need some advice,
Thanks all

Hi try the CCCS who lots on here deal with and also don't charge.
Not sure why payplan said that, but don't think you'd get the same reaction from CCCS, why don't you try posting in the "Ask a CCCS counsellor a question" thread which is a sticky at the top of the board.DMP Support Thread Member 238

Hi All
I'm currently in the process of going through PayPlan to help with my debt. I have never missed a payment, nor have I been late but I'm struggling to manage each month with my current debt - do you think I should go for it? It's going to affect my credit rating and I'm not sure.
Also, what are the chances of your creditors freezing the interest? Does anyone have any advice on whether creditors will do it or not? I'm really worried as I'm relying on this!
If anyone has any advice/feedback on PayPlan, I'd really appreciate it.
Thank you

Can only add to the sensible advice others have given, try one of the free debt charities. Maybe one of the reasons any fee charging 'debt service' can't help is because you can't pay them. That's all they are in the business for, nothing else. Something to bare in mind.
Any help, opinions, views I may hold those are my own. Respect them as you would expect the same in return. Offered freely, is gleaned from a lifetime of experiences, knowledge gaining. Passed on to benefit others. I may be direct, ask you questions but those are to help you. Up to you if you choose to take it. I won't judge you either way.
