Thanks OP on sharing the code. I put the code into their booking website. Here are the details, to save time searching...

TASTE OF LONDON at Regent's Park, London
    18-21 June
    http://www.tastefestivals.com/london/

This is a discount for two tickets. A standard single ticket cost £22.5. The code offer a pair of tickets for £18.63 (all quote including booking fee)

I have been to this event a few years ago because my friend had a spare ticket. My own comment is, unless you are keen on fine food and happy to pay a price to sample the food from top of the capital chefs, the whole event is a total rip off!

The ticket only give you entry, where you see some talks, access to trade stands and hopefully some free tasting sample. You need to buy tokens to exchange food and drinks, the money token is call 'crown'.

However, the food was over priced, because the exhibitors were charged a high fee to exchange their 'crown' back to money.

I think you need to spend at least £20-£40, on top of the ticket price... ok, it is a lovely event with wide range of choices and the food is great, but spending £40 on small bites during credit crunch?

Not quite, this is an offer for buying tickets in pairs, where each ticket is £18.63 with fees - so you save just under £4 per ticket.

Thanks phoenix for the correction. I must misunderstood the offer.
well, it's not much of an offer then...
  • I'm "not allowed to post with links" as I am a new user apparently!!! Grrr!

If you Google "British Airways - Taste of London - Exclusive ticket offers" with quotes you come up with a page of offers.

The first one on this link has already expired. But here's what I found:

    Cheap Thursday afternoon tickets.
Std tickets (normally £22.50 each) selling for £10.75 each.
This is the best offer I've found - but you need to take time off work.

Buy 8 Premium tickets for the price of 7 (works out at £34.35 each instead of £39.25)

It is well worth going - but you still need to buy Crowns. We go every year and normally end up spending at least £40 each on food.

£35 for VIP ticket any time Thursday or Friday is not too bad. You get £20 of crowns, a glass of champagne and access to the British Airways VIP tent (aka bar).

So £15 including a glass of champagne.
  • Thanks for this - look like the BA VIP ticket is still available. Effectively means you get "free" fast-track entry and glass of champagne compared to the normal Premium ticket
