I've used Publix for floral deliveries in the US and have had excellent results
    http://www.publix.com/services/floral/Home.do

think they are actually managed via 1800flowers.com - the recipients have been thrilled and it was miles cheaper than using Interflora or anything similar. The charge is simply made to your credit card in dollars and then converted. The only downside is the appalling dollar v's pound rate right now however I don't think you have enough time for the likes of flyingflowers.com

and I ordered on line by credit card, they were delivered safely

I did the same for Toronto in Canada and they had a lovely boquet.
Just google 'florist and the town she lives in and 'florida usa'.
Florists do much of their business this way and so are geared up for it.
Most of the sites show pictures of the bunches, boquets that they provide.
I'm Glad to be here... At my age I'm glad to be anywhere!!

maybe do the same search on Yahoo too, as probably will give you a slightly different set of results, then you will have a few local florist to compare and choose from.

Or is there any other family or friends of your mother that you know that you could give a subtle call to and seek a recommended local florist?
