Oh makeup that sounds so exciting & a brilliant plan. Put that motto in your sig now , it will remind you each time you post.
* hopes there will be a flat warming party with mojitos & watermelon daiquiris*
Well done on all your jobs done today. Each time I read that you have been out & about in town I feel so bad about not being out & about. I'm about 20 - 30 mins form Waterloo & we both love wandering about & visiting museums & galleries.
I am going to spend more of my treat money on such things that we can both enjoy rather than shoes & clothes. Need a motto. Was it you that mentioned the Fawcett society a while back ? I investigated that a few years ago ... must revisit :think:0 -
Shoegal - thanks a lot!
I thought of you today, I went to the Victoria & Albert Museum and they have one of those page a day desk calendars for 2010. It has a different pair of shoes for each day!!! I was deeply in love and I think you would be too!!
mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm heavenand l love the museum too
Sometimes it's hard to walk in a single woman's shoes - that's why we need really special ones!Total debt @ Oct 2008: £29,226.42 Credit Card- £[STRIKE]7493.56[/STRIKE] - £7243.56Weightloss : 0/34lbs0 -

Oh my goodness yes, if and when I finally manage it, I will def be having big cocktail party (maybe we could make it a SAID evening???!!)
If you ever want to meet up and hit a gallery let me know, I'm always up for it and I still have a pass that gets me free entry to galleries and sometimes I can manage to get a friend in for free too. If not, works out at half price.
Was indeed me and Fawcett. I'm helping on a stall at the Feminism in London event, 10th Oct. Some really interesting talks and debates I think.I've got my own flat :j:j
Now I have to pay the bills

Hmm, appreciate the sentiment but not sure has quite the same ring as Shoegal...
What can it be???
What else can it remind me of??
I'm all round accessories gal myself, although very fickle, sometimes I'm all about shoes, then it'll be bags or watches or jewellery. At the mo I'm all about hair accessories.....I've got my own flat :j:j

I keep meaning to change my sig, I did do better than £16 on my summer challenge
I just never managed to work out what my overtime translated to in terms of extra cash, was too complicated with tax and what not. Then I forgot to keep track of vouchers and things.I've got my own flat :j:j

Hello Ladies and Gents
Sorry it's been a few days, I had a very messy weekend, got battered on Friday and had to drag one of my mates home in a shopping trolley cus he couldn't walk and then I went off to Sydney to see other friends and did it all again.
As for the talk of jobs... you all know exactly what I do lol. I have wondered what people on here do for a living but didn't want to ask.
It's nice to see a few new faces in here, I reckon all these guys are coming out of the woodwork as they've heard about a thread full of single, f-fabulous ladies! (not that that's the reason I'm here at all, nooooo)The size of a glory hole in an open pit should not be greater than the cross-section of the haul trucks that dump into it. Otherwise, you are bound to lose a truck, sooner or later. Source: Sergio Cha
I'm sorry for the demon I've become but you should be sorry for the angel you are not.0 -
Hi all, have been poorly over the weekend, think I had food poisoning, not really been my month so far:rolleyes:
Have had a quick read through of the thread, loved the "naked neighbours" chat:D
makeup, love the new sig, good luck on your mission.I also have it in my sig to motivate me, I don't have much there but I am aiming for a very big deposit to keep the mortgage costs down. I also have some Homebuy schemes nearby, trying to get your foot on the ladder as a single person is impossible here too and am going to investigate when I have a reasonable amount together.
Hope everyone is having a good day, am not due in work till later this afternoon so am spending the next couple of hours lazing about in bed.Pay/save £20k in 2010 £5888.75/£20,000June Mini target 0/5lbs Total 23/40Ebay profit 2010: March £207:) April £95:) May £130:) June £0 Total £432:j0 -

He, he! Put in mild nagging for next week and major-getting-on-my-case nagging for the week after
Gwennington, it is mild nagging day. This post is your mild nagging to learn about matched betting. I'm off to work now so completely free to answer questions for the rest of the day and evening.0 -
Hi All!
How are you all- i hope you had a lovely week and weekend doing all fun, money saving, matched betting, clearing, fantabulous stuff!
i had a great weekend last week with my cousin- yes the kids were a bit of a trial but i survived it and i am the nicest auntie there is! Took them everywhere they wantes and gave their mum's a break and they ate all the carp they could get their hands on.
then i went to the Outer hebrides for the rest of the week- Fantastic!- nice weather- not cold and not rainy til saturday so was quite happy. Now i have to deal with the after holidays depression!:(
i also just managed to stay on the right side of debt only swiping my cc for a beautiful silver stylised cross and lunch for me my friend and her partner.:A
Othwerwise full of beans, hopeful for a good week and planning on starting some good new habits this week
1. Going on the cross-trainer that is currently drying space:o
2. Not sitting in front of the PC ALL night EVERY night ALL week
3. Better eating habits- i.e. less choccies and snacks:rolleyes:
Hopefully its not too much for my poor system to handle!
Hope you all good!Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heavenMatthew 5:30
