The perfect solution to my problem, would be to discover a site called washable ties-r- us.These silk ones cost a fortune to dry clean and have just chucked 2 in the washer as an experiment-theyve come out clean, but wait till they dry to see if ive wrecked em.Any MS tips apart from wear a bib.

I wash all my 'dry clean only' stuff. I put it in the washing machine on a hand wash cycle and so far everything has been fine. I do all my 'dry clean' only suits too.0

Same here, I do all mine on the handwash cycle, or a wool's cycle if no handwash on machine & never had a problem.2025 - finally back comping after a stressful house move - send me fairy dust please0

Hmmm...
As an ex dry cleaner - we experienced alot of problems with people who just bunged it into the washing machine.
If you value it, get it done properly.0
