default removal

Hi i'm at the moment trying to remove defaults from my credit file. One is with Orange communications and the other with the Royal Bank of Scotland. Both debts are now being paid by myself through debt collection agencies and i am trying to have them removed by asking both companies for written proof that they sent me default notices. I am unsure however whether to send my letters to the debt collection agencies dealing with the debt or do i send the letters direct to orange and the Royal Bank.

Any thoughts ?

Who are the Defaults registered with Orange/Royal Bank of Scotland or with the DCA'S?

If they are registered with the DCA send the letters to them. Visa Versa.

I'm currently doing this same process. I sent mine to the DCA'S because they own the debts now. The DCA's would have to then contact the company to get the information.
