Laughable...

I order a lot from Amazon. This one is a bit mad though, even for them: They sent something I ordered for £420 (with an RRP of £2,000) via normal 1st class post, not even recorded or special. A few months ago they sent bin bags worth £3 via COURIER! How does that work?! Let's track and trace the bin bags incase they go missing, but not the item that is worth £2000! Crazy....
The main thing is to keep the main thing the main thing:)

I never understood how companies can send cheap things by courier.. eBuyer sent me 2 4-way plug adaptors that cost £3 by next day courier, with free postage.. weird.

When you get stuff from Amazon you are not always buying directly from Amazon, you may be buying from one of the retailers that use Amazon to sell there stuff.

So it may depend on who you bought your expensive and cheap items from.

If the bin bags were from a big company they may be in a contract with a courier so it will not matter what they send through a courier it will all be under a set fee for delivering their products.

Cannot really understand why any company would send a valuable product via normal post though. If you weren't an honest customer what is to say you couldn't contact the company and say the item was never delivered, they would not have any proof otherwise.

I once bought a pair of shorts for my daughter from Sports Direct using a free postage code. The shorts were reduced from £14.99 to £1.49 and I used Quidco to get 8 or 9p cashback. Not only did they send the shorts by courier but they also sent me a free jumbo mug to thank me for my order! Actually this could have been a problem as we weren't in when the courier arrived but luckily a neighbour was home and accepted the package for us.
The fridge is empty, the walls are damp, there's no hot water
And I look like a tramp and tramps like us

I am nervously awaiting an order from Amazon which is £80 and saved via survey sites to afford it- I have been send an email from amazon to say it went out via first class royal mail.

I had ordered an MP3 player from them about 8 months ago, it was a similar price and was sent out to be signed for...what are amazon doing?!!

Am concerned as dispite my complaints, posties still see fit to leave mail ON MY DOORSTEP! in an area where last year, a neighbout had his Washing machine stolen whilst he took it out the front to hoover his kitchen, literally 30 minutes and gone!

    Amazon are nuts!
