Hello all you wonderful helpers
I am getting married on Friday 24 April, so was hoping to go on honeymoon on say the Monday 27th, but the trip to Kenya is only available the following Monday 4th May (Beach and Safari). The other option is Sri Lanker highlights, 7 day tour, 6 days beach.
Has anyone been to Sri Lanka or Kenya and what are your opinions, they will both be an adventure with culture and relaxation.
The problem I have with Kenya one is that because it does not leave until the week after (4th May), I may have to go back to work for a week and then go on honeymoon the following week, would that look a bit funny do you think.
Thanks in advance for any advice.

Personally, I'd go for Sri Lanka. Something exotic. Beautiful beaches etc. kenya is probably just as wonderful but more for a safari.0

We are doing the Sri Lanka tour and stay in August. We would have liked to go to Kenya but it was more expensive. I'm really glad we picked Sri Lanka and can't wait to go.0

Thanks, is yours the 6 day tour and 7 day beach, my only concern is will it be a bit to hectic.
Has anyone else done the Sri Lankan Highlights, what tour operator is the best, or should I just book a 2 week holiday there and arrange tour when we get there but I imagain that will be more expensive.
Thanks again0 -

Thomas Cook Signature market the tour as 7 days but really it is 5 days (They include the two days travelling time as part of the tour). We are then having 9 nights in a beach hotel. We priced up this kind of holiday with most tour operators and this came out cheapest- do ask for discount though.0
