Morning all....oh Toni, I'd better catch up on the latest; my internet went down last night and I got fed up; decided to catch up on sleep so went to bed at 8pm and feel a bit more refreshed.

Very tragic news about Natasha Richardson, condolences to all the family involved,

Dont know how many peeps know this on here but ive been snowboarding for over 10 yrs and i always wear my helmet, kids board and ski and sometimes they moan about me forcing them to wear theirs but i make a point of making them wear them


Ive showed them the news about Natasha and the way a slight fall can have devistating consequences, like Diva says everyone who knows anyone whos into extreme sports please wear helmets etc.

Oh wow. That's awful. I don't know why people assume they're so safe when skiing; I've never seen anyone wear a helmet; come to think of it I never used to; I will from now on.

morning peeps, sad news about Natasha,
supposed to be having the cleaner come today to polish the tiles in the bathroom and make it spotless but there is still some tiles that need doing so dont know if she will be coming or not.

Awful news about Natasha - didn't look promising when I went to bed last night. Her family must be devastated.

Must admit skiing has never appealed to me - seems the quickest coldest way to a broken limb I can think of.....:o that and the ski attire would make me look like the Michelin Man....:o

Hope everyone's lucky today - although we'll have to go some to beat yesterdays wins....:D Think the comping fairy may well have taken up residence in the Inn.:rotfl:

Good morning all.

So much sadness around - I only hope that as VWC said, we all learn the lessons. As with the Jade effect on the uptake of smear tests lets pray helmets become the norm for skiers and extreme sportspersons.

It was misty here most of yesterday but the sun is shining again today. Lets hope its a sign of a lovely day ahead.
