Just reading that on the BBC News website, its amazing what makes the main headline with all thats going on elsewhere.Thoughts:

Grrr... postie has just been but not the usual one! I live in a flat and our postboxes are in the lobby downstairs so when they have a parcel they have to buzz us to go and fetch it. So the buzzer went but the postie had obvisouly buzzed someone else straight after so it cut me off before I spoke to him. I looked out the window as saw that postie on wheels was also outside so I waited for him to leave just incase he had something for me and then ran downstairs. I bumped into other postie who was just leaving and asked if he'd buzzed me and he said yes but it was postie on wheels who had actually had the package so he'd put a red card in my postbox. I went to postbox and there was no red card so he must have put it in the wrong letter box!! Now I hope it's someone nice who reads the card and puts it in the right letter box tonight (if the postie has actually written on the flat number for once...) otherwise I'll have to red card to go to the sorting office with tomorrow and they'll be annoying about the whole thing!!! Only expectnig galaxy books and cadburys chocolates but I want them!!! Sorry about that rant I just get uptight about my post2008: £783.12 - 2009: £6,401.15 - 2010: £4,230.61 - 2011: £8720 - 2012: £2,041.89

Where in Liverpool are you? I live near Smithdown and some of our posties are complete meffs with the red card; pretending they have knocked when they haven't and just leaving a red card and stuff...Or like certain couriers who left my new laptop at a house 9 doors away with random people I had never met before....0 -
Morning all.
Shouldn't really be on here, got loads of things to do.
Like Splodz, we're going away tomorrow.
Splodz, hope you have a fantastic time. I'm not gonna change my avatar though. Rhyl doesn't have the same effect:rotfl:
Anyway, gotta go shopping, cleaning, sorting clothes out.
Haven't done a thing.
So will you lot stop distracting me please!:D0 -
I live in the city centre ish just off Dale Street but since moving here I've had about 5 different posties and only one of them is any good!! Luckily he's the one we've had most regularly but the others don't even give you a chance to answer although at least running downstairs regularly is keeping me fit... Couriers don't even leave cards here as they can't get in so I wouldn't even know if I've received anything from them if I'm not here which is why I stay in all the time2008: £783.12 - 2009: £6,401.15 - 2010: £4,230.61 - 2011: £8720 - 2012: £2,041.89

Yay!! congrats! if you click on the egg on the winners list it tells you who started it (me this time hehe \o/) and who last passed it to you and it was Wokkies :T:T
Ohhh great, thank you so much Nicky: it shows that you have started it but strange since I don't have Wokkies on my list of friends???
When you try to order your prizes, it shows a shipping cost, does it charge that?
Good luck to everyone x
