Sorry Gemma I don't know the answer. I suppose this depends on your relationship with them...

If you don't wish to go, then you don't have to just apologise politely. I am sure a good mate would understand. It may do you good after all to have some nice company, I miss that.

Cathy, it is not fair that your effort is not to be clearly recognised and appreciated although this does not mean that it is not being noticed. Some people are just not good at saying it..

I have been on a bowl of salad all day but since I walked in, I had grapes, a massive piece of the chocolate cake leftover (YUCK'loads of chocolate sauce I feel sick), and a massive cheese sandwich...i don't think I can join OH for tea :o

    Good evening all :)

Hugs to everyone who needs them xxxxxx

I am so tired - not felt too good today - am soooo sore and i have a really bad head and sore throat. :(

I have got physio in the morning - i dread to think how i will get on - the exercises she gave me to do at home have really hurt :( i am going to have 2 physio's with me - one of which will be a neurological one - so i hope that doesn't mean double the work :( xxxxx

I just won a bath balastic on Lush thanks to Cathy!! :D

Martins Doll - thanks. Got some simple creams here today too. They look fab. I've not posted on IWIW yet as I have been passing eggs. I am now going for that bath and then getting stuck into those comps.
    Keep thinking positively

I think its because pay reviews are due, there are 7 members of staff that are on more money than me, and have to fight for a payrise each year, i would say decent but it is not, its the minimum that I wanted, he never comes in with a higher offer,
I have also been there for about 15 years so part of the furniture!

    cheers guys.
I don't really know her - she lives on the floor below and couldn't come to my party as she couldn't get upstairs - she's in a wheelchair and there's no lift :( and so instead, she invited me down to have a natter, so I'd feel bad cancelling. I'll probably say I can't stay late (that's true) and that I'll stay for a glass or two :)

hope you all have lovely evenings, hope to be back properly soon :)

and on the day I complain to Lush that their comp isn't making winners, 3 happen in one day :D

    *hugs Flick extra hard*

This is not good and not right, I get where you are coming from. Its the most demotivating feeling: to put in as much work as everyone else, if not more, and not to get promoted. Is it not possible to talk to someone at your union?

Have fun Gemma, a glass or two might help you relax etc...

Yes the Lush game is getting on my nerves too..the way this people promote is clever, very involving...it is fun though :o
