It's a bit like eBay, if Play.com stock the item you want to sell you can sell it on play.com yourself when it sells you can transfer the money into your bank account (think this is a 5% fee) or leave it until you want to buy something from play.com. I had about £33 in my Playtrade account so that's paid for the fitness kit for free & still have a little left over.
