Hi Ricky.
How's Australia treating you?
Great, thanks, Lakshmi.
Staying out of the sun and chasing the shade, being a ranga, and loving it.
I'll love it even more once / if they let me work here.
I swear it must be easier to get into the UK, although I am sure that I am wrong on that. It just feels like it right now.
Thanks for asking. xAl Mac Appreciation Society No. 188

Hi from Oz!
Have any of you lot had a friend request from Kara Thrace (a character (!) from the new Battlestar Galactica)?
It seems as if quite a few of you lot (ie, MSE Facebookers) have accepted this entry as a friend, and yet it seems really dodgy to me.
Anyone?
Ta in advance,
rrickyuk xxx
Hi rricky,
i accepted her as a friend and she has been playing Lush pass the parcel with me so i think that's prob what she wants. Think it says on her profile that it's just a fan page dedicated to her fave character. KP is a character name too but I use it on my FB so people know who I am from this forum if that makes sense.

What is a ranga? Is your partner working?
I think it probably is easier to get into the UK.
Are you having MSE withdrawal symptoms? It is a scientific fact that your body will not absorb calories if you take it from another person's plate.:A :A :AChocolate is the answer and I don't give a damn whatthe question is.;)0 -
Afternoon all,
nice to hear from you Ricky, enjoying yourself?
No the weather is still sh**, need some more sun please
x
Sorry to hear that - they only have two seasons here really: winter, that we are moving into now, where it is around 30 degrees and hot; then there is summer, when it is around 30-35 degrees and hot, but with added humidity, and how. They talk about autumn (now) and spring, but neither really exists, for me at least.Al Mac Appreciation Society No. 188

Nope been really windy/cold here in Brum, and even had hailstones the other day!
The only good thing is its more lighter in the evenings, cos clocks went forward.

I love that in the UK after Chrippy - I always tell myself that the shortest day is over and that each day gets longer afterwards.
It's good for calling home for me, as well, because you are now 9 as opposed to 10 hours behind, which was great today, on my mum's 71st birthday!! xAl Mac Appreciation Society No. 188

Thanks for your reply! I was thinking that there was a major security breach or something! I'll decline the invite with relief now, knowing that it was no scam and that I am on the wrong side of the world for that kind of wonderful soap!!Al Mac Appreciation Society No. 188
