Afternoon, firstly I am very sad, we had not seen our neighbour around for a while and knew he was having a knee operation soon so guessed he was off his feet for that, should have checked really! We keep ourselves pretty much to ourselves round here in the winter so hadn't seen his wife to ask. Anyway I had to pop in to make a courtesy call as we are having our fence replaced tomorrow (£300 we didn't plan on spending, blimmen storms!) and we'll need access to their garden. I found out that he died suddenly in October of Cancer and we didn't even know
After profuse apologies for not knowing and condolances we have a nice chat in the sunshine, then another neighbour joins in and I realise I am there in my really tatty gardening gear, slippers and I could seriously do with a shower! Anyway, it's just neighbours so I don't worry too much. Then the posty arrives, not the tasty one but not the minger either :rotfl: and he has parcels for me, so I shuffle down the road to my gate to collect, looking like a catwalk model (not)Anyway, go back to finish my conversation with neighbours and a courier pulls up, out steps this male model looky likey with mirror shades and (for the late nighters) nice arms. So back I shuffle in my slippers, "is that for me" I ask, he flashes a smile and says "maybe, do you live here" haha I replied "do I look like some sort of bag lady that hangs around waiting to pinch people's parcels then?" he looked down at my slippers, flashed that smile again and just asked for my Surname
:o:o:o
Anyway, it was my coffee machine and it's lovely and shiney and I love it, thanks MunchkimThat ain't working! That's the way to do it, money for nothing and TV's for free0 -
With all of the competitions we've ran since the last update in February we thought that this would be a great time to say congrats to all the Quidco winners since then:

:j:j:j:j:j:j I won a plumber. I've rung 19 in the last fortnight and left messages. Finally one replies to my call and is coming next Tuesday to look at my leaky sink, my overflowing cold water tank and a wet patch on the kitchen ceiling.:beer:Any war that lasts for longer than five years should be declared a draw.:beer:0
