Could be worse Sparky, when we won our 42" TV I bent over to light the gas fire one day and Hubby commented "Blo*dy typical, we get a 42" TV and you've got a 52" ar*e"!Luck is believing you’re lucky – Tennessee Williams

I've not made one for about 20 years, but I'm fairly sure it would just have been a basic 'all in one' sponge recipe split between bowls colours added and put in the tin. Make sure it's a bit firmer than usual before adding the colouring - ooh, just googled 'rainbow cake' which is what we always called it, & there are a lot of hits!
http://www.altnation.com/forums/food-drink/134988-rainbow-cake.html:D thankyou!
I think my problem is because mine's a fat free recipe, so it's only got flour, sugar and eggs in and the yokes are causing the problem!but that site's also given me the idea of marble cakes! They sound lovely, yumm yumm!

*sigh*
the OH turned down the internship
they couldn't all agree on dates
but he's been pretty much offered a job with them for after his course, which is something. It's not definite and not an official role yet, but they've said it's "very very likely" and in the area he wants.
So he's not coming back in 2 months, but in September. A little sad about this but at least he's happy and not stressed now..
*sigh*
lol at the fat free cake. By not adding any fat to bind it, most recipies have butter or milk inBest wins since June 08: 2xNikonD60, 2xBrothers Cider, £330 SwanJackpot, £100 Garden Vs, £50 Espirit V, £750 BigSnap2, Wiifit, zoo tix, 7xCadburys, 5xGlamour, IOWTix, Dell Laptop, 3xIpodNano, £100 Highstreet Vs, Digi VideoCamera and more small bits, REAL DEAL £2400! :jRIP Dad 1943-20090 -
Afternoon everyone!
I have won naff all this week apart from a poxy calendar which I got the wem for Monday and havent recieved yet and I didnt really want anyway (I entered for the main prize of £200 vouchers!). I know I shouldnt be dispondent cos I have won loads and its only a week etc.. but its bugging me now ! I cant even win the comps where everyone seems to be winning i.e galaxy books, cadburys choccy, wild bean cafe, the liz earle one, the 3 dongle, the avon 24k lippy etc. Nothing. Sure the posty is nabbing my mail or something lol !!
Am hoping if I post a rant on here about my lack of winnings a job lot of them will roll in !!!
I know theres people worse off than me on the wins front too though so dont get me wrong I am grateful for what I have had, you just come to expect a certain standard of wins coming in and this week has not lived up to expectations pmsl !!!
How is everyone anyway? Not got time to read back at the moment. Am plotting what to have for dinner at the moment. Need to make something from nothing, anyone have any recipes for that ? lol !!!
Hope your all well anyway and having lots more wins than me.
Love and luck to all xxxx. Thanks to all posters and contributers :beer:0
