Argghhhhh! OH has just scared the hell out of our cat  (who was asleep on my knee). She's just jumped up and in the process scratched my hand to bits. It really hurt and hand has been bleeding!!!!! Hurts to type when entering comps. I'm not amused.....

Hi all, what an afternoon, took Dad to his Hospital Appointment which was at 3:20, eventually got in at 4:50  and even then it was someone that stepped in because the Doctor who was covering for the Consultant was running so late ........... he could have been anyone!

It was good news though, the cancer they found in his prostate hasn’t spread, so they are treating him with 2 weeks of tablets and then every 3 months he will have an implant injection which goes under the skin and slowly breaks down over a 12 week period. The cancer that he has apparently ‘feeds’ on male hormones, so the injections are female hormones which apparently can increase his breast size and cause hot flushes. I’ve told him that he’ll be fighting me for the Avon catalogue before he knows it.

I've now resigned myself to having no sleep tonight due to the most selfish house"mate"s ever. I went to bed ill earlier, as I still have a blinding migraine and have been throwing up because he's been playing floor shaking "music" for 14 hours straight. I cannot sleep, and when I went downstairs, I then fell over a kid's bike, which belongs to this pothead mate of his who thinks it's hilarious to ride one at age 21. I've been slamming doors to voice my displeasure but it's lost on these effing morons. I am tempted to scream and/or smash up his stereo/face.

Thanks everyone, we were very relieved. We lost Mum last year (first Mother's Day without her this week) and Dad is 83 and disabled, so it's great that he is okay.

Right, I'm shattered, night all, don't stay up too late, last one out turn the lights off.

  • I won't do anything but I am sitting here in the foulest mood with the foulest headache!! Cathy, if I was gonna stoop to their level, I'd need to build a mineshaft!! I'm too ill to try anyway; can barely walk as I feel dizzy and am seeing flashing lights/zig zags. It's like watching that old BBC intermission thing while on LSD!!
