Well I trotted off to the local bridal shop today and they sold me 4 wedding dress bags but I am not to sell the dresses in those bags because of their contract with their suppliers. One dress has gone to the dry cleaners - it has cost £28 and will be ready on Saturday (I have had to take the tags off it though). The shop told me what the bits were that have hooks on them - they look like trains to me but it seems that they are something called a bustle:confused: As you can see I might know about planning but have no idea about the frocks because I have never worn one:rolleyes:

I cannot get any acid-free tissue paper for love nor money so I will have to look on ebay.

My sofa is partly reclaimed, my doorframes are now littered with bagged gowns. Suppose I had better sort some boxes out and carefully pack the stuff away.

My tip to all ladies looking for bridal wear is to watch the local auction houses for their sales to see what is coming up - none of the items listed at the auction the other night had reserves on them so they went for peanuts. You can pick up some good stuff too.
