Advice on satisfied judgement Please

[FONT=Verdana, Arial]Hi

I am currently trying to clean up my credit file following my discharge from bankruptcy in April 2005
i have a few defaults that are not satisfied on my credit file which i am writng to the companies to get satisfied

However i have a CCJ settled on my account 1/1/05 but the date of satisfaction is showing as August 2006(this was part of my BR petition)
I have checked with the court who advise that this was when they were notiifed of the satisfaction is this the correct date to show?

this now means it will remain on my file longer until 2012

Thanks

5 days till i go BR
    then opened another
4 days till i go BR
    and then another
3 days till i go BR and what shall i wear and what should i take with me
or songs to go BR too

They are the only posts that get answered
I managed to do all of it by myself not knowing this forum existed and probably didnt then didnt need good luck today messages

Just need an answer to a question which i would then follow up with an update thus helping others with an update

sorry for being so anti this site at the moment but its just everyone posting rubbish that does not help anyone and just want an ecuddle not helping anyone in the long term

    Hi Coldoasis

Sorry that you feel that there has not been a quick enough response to your post. Unfortunately I do not know the answer here as I am pre BR & have not yet tackled the CRA `clean up` process.

I know there is a sticky but maybe a PM to fermi or debt doctor may be helpful to you.

As you say the most popular posts are those where support is needed for those who have yet to go through the process or are recently through it...mentally I for one know that knowing that others are supporting you is very powerful & I would hope you agree.

I shall bump your post in the morning if you have had no response to get help for you. This board seems so busy lately !!!

    Take care,

The monthy BR threads bring those going through it...more together in a supportive sense.

Frustratingly I don`t know what month I belong to yet !!! ...wish I`d done it last year & would be nearly through it now!!! hey-ho !!

Your CRA clean up question is very good one & needs full discussion. Thankyou for raising it. I shall BUMP in the morning ...gosh that sounded very dodgy!!!!

My understanding is that you petitioned for BR April 04 with discharge April 05...therefore as at April 04 you were no longer responsible for those debts...I am very interested in the outcome of your question.

    Thankyou for posting it.

    Hi
    My Br was 5/1/04
    My discharge was 1/4/05

Was expecting everything to fall off next year but this has thrown me

Fermi says nothing you show should be after your'e BR date
but the court said oh well we were only notified in 2006 so tough luck

thats what im trying to find out the legal point

Experian said get rid of it but when i visited the court they said thats when we were notified deal with it

    Hiya,

Im pre bankrupt too, i read your question and dont have an answer sorry.
    Sorry your question got lost.

Even in the very short time ive joined ive noticed how bust the site has become. I read all the new posts and help where i can. I know others do too.

Its a natural thing to share, for some they haven't family support and are very alone.

Have you tried contacting any of the debt charities to ask?

As Beth says why don't you ring one of the debt charities or even your OR to get an answer. I see that you also posted on another forum the same question. That site has also a list of experts whom you can contact via telephone. Give one of them a ring and see if they can give an answer.

It's quite possible that no one on here has experience of what you are asking and therefore can't answer you hence no replies. But there's not much point getting annoyed because other posts get more replies than yours. That's the way forums work and its nothing personal.

BUMPING this up as I think a few may have misinterpreted the OPs secondary thread on the subject.

Can anyone help coldoasis with this.

    Mis interpreted? thats an understatement.......

and just for the record? I dont think the date is correct it should be no later than date of bankruptcy or at least show patrial settled...do what others have suggested contact a debt helpline or contact the insolvency service helpline & ask them or if the court wont change the dates speak to the information commisioners service

Oh & OP no thanks needed.....although an apology would be a start

If you go back to the other forum you posted on you will find an answer to your question there. If that response isnt good enough then give the responder a ring he is very helpful and will explain all to you. I know. I have had personal dealings with him.
