To be fair, a decent joint of beef for 4 and a bottle of wine wouldn't leave much change out of £15. I bet at £15 it will be still hard to get - hype, or decent value??

You'd hardly call a 2 lb piece of topside a "decent joint of beef" though, would you? Still, I suppose it beats proper cooking for some people!0 -

I can only see "Aberdeen Angus Prime Beef Roasting Joint", which to me is a "decent joint of beef". How much would this cost alone, say 1kg??

Well it certainly beats my "proper cooking" :rolleyes:0

Picked this up yesterday from the Covent Garden M&S.
Chicken alone would've cost 13quid, so to get the dessert, side and two boxes of juice thrown in is a good deal in my book.
Having friends over for a roast on the weekend. So rather than going out for lunch we'll eat in. Might've cost 15quid but that's about 1/3 of what it would've cost for just my wife and I to have roast at the local - let alone all 4 of us.:money:0
