Selling old/collectible toys

Hi,
Wondering if anyone can offer some info or resoruces to help me?
A loft clearout has unearthed some old toys from the 1970s (and possibly a few older ones) and I've found some fairly respectable selling prices for them online. So, I'd like to sell mine.
I've bought/sold on ebay, but if they sell there, it's likely to be for much less than more specialised outlets and probably to collectors who will reap the higher prices instead of me. Similarly with free-ads or classifieds. I've thought about auctions as well, but the fees may make it not worth it.
What I'm tryng to find out is where I can sell/advertise my items, for the same - or as close as possible - to the prices I've found. If I ask the shops/sellers to sell for me, they'll only pay a fraction of what they will sell for.
Any ideas on specialist sites or magazines? Or how to approach dealers to get the best price possible?
Thanks in anticipation!

Have you got any Mr Men ones?0

If you tell us what you have I can help you out a bit - I sometimes sell toys online and collect a little bit! I own Blythe dolls and there is a forum dedicated to those which has an active buy/sell section, so that's a good idea.0

Hello,
thanks for the replies.
Beanbag: no Mr Men stuff so far - I may have a couple fo books somewhere, but not turned up yet.
Mippy: don't think the dolls are Blythe dolls, though I do have one I have no idea who she is! Good tip about the buying/selling sections and collectors pages, I'll go back and check for the dolls I have.
thanks again!0 -
Dragon - why not post up some pictures here, I might be able to help on the doll.0
