Thx just ordered one -postage a bit high but still cheaper than other sites, mostly good reviews on Amazon as well.

No the Pansonic pops in the freezer. It has batteries, expensive LiIon ones!
I got rechargeable ones from DealExtreme for under a £10 inc charger.
Make sure you get the short ones so they fit the Panasonic the fatter rechargables do not fit. The size difference is only 2mm but enough that the batteries will not fit.

The Panasonic does not need prior cooling and is very small and light. Easy to store well made was £17 odd on Amazon when I got it.
