Retail box, these are UNPOWERED USB 2 hubs, small and ideal for notebooks and PCs. The £5 one has a power socket but there is no PSU, it works without external power.
Noticed Ebuyer are doing free P&P on this hub they also have a smaller plastic one for less than £5 delivered!
This is the quick find code on www.ebuyer.co.uk is 88971
The people who maintain the Ebuyer web site cannot spell WWW so when you click the link the manufacturer it says site not found. Take out the extra W and you'll be there, here is the link I found

There are reviews on Ebuyer and this is a link to a shop in the USA selling the same item.

Thank you smelly smuch good man!! My sister has been pestering my this week to find her a hub....good work!A shadowy flight into the dangerous world of a man who does not exist.
A young loner on a crusade to champion the cause of the innocent,
the helpless, the powerless, in a world of criminals who operate above the law.0 -
Don't forget the poundland ones, they work perfectly ok for a quid!Next year we'll be millionaires!0
-
the one i bought from poundland was labelled as USB 2, but it was an USB 1 hub. so keep that in mind0

Plus wouldn't use ebuyer if they paid me. They are very unreliable and customer unfriendly!0

Gosh sorry to here that, I've never had a problem I order lots of kit from them never had a problem, even returns RMA etc have been fine for me.
Their security checks seem quite good, and I like their no frills service, always worth checking prices against froogle and Dabs as they are not always the cheapest, but a reasonable source of commodity parts.
I like their low cost USB cables and other items people charge £9.99 for even network cables are cheap.
I do not like their postage costs which are high for small orders. Too high in my books.
This hub came with free P&P hence the post.
You do not have to select supersaver for the free P&P standard service seems to be free.Seth.0 -
