Gave myself a pat on the back today

Just wanted to share this with all you lovely people on here.

I have lots of debt as does everyone else, and was panicking as i have my son's 21st birthday coming up in a few months.
He also graduates this year and wanted to make it special for him as he has worked so hard and has overcome a lot of problems.
Dh and i wanted to buy him a special present that cost almost £200. I know it's a lot of money and some might say could be spent better elsewhere.
Anyway, i have been collecting 20p's and 50p's over the past 7 months and have now reached my target £200.
:T I haven't even missed the money and i am so proud of myself as i have never been able to save any money in the past.
I shall continue to save them which will go towards a much desrved party for him.

I looked at an Egg savings account online the other day that I only pay £1.00 a month to at the moment because of being broke and it had £30.00 in :j So I swiftly withdrew it and paid it off one of my ccs which took that particular card down to below £1k - this gave me a warm feeling inside!
