Using mum's Tesco vouchers?

My mum gave me her Tesco vouchers from her clubcard to help me out with her shopping bill
But the problem is they are of course in her name not mine - can I still use them at the till? They have her clubcard number on not mine (I dont think she even knows where her card is!!) IT is £8.50 worth of vouchers which would provide me with food for a couple of weeks!
hope you can help

We've given ours to our daughter before now with no problems. She even used some for flights to Scotland, but I think we had to authorise those.0

Sorry to contradict, but I tried to use my Mum's vouchers. They said that because the name on the vouchers did not match the name on my clubcard I could not use them.
And as they insisted that I could only use vouchers when presenting a clubcard, the only way I could have got away with it would have been to present my Mum's clubcard.
So I suppose it depends on how observant the till person is.0 -
I would use them online for deals at 4 times the value.
All you do is input the code printed on the voucher, doesnt matter who the voucher is issued to.0 -

Headcovers - the way I get around this is to present my tesco clubcard key fob at the checkout with my mum's clubcard vouchers. As there is no name on the key fob they cannot check and the vouchers go through OK.
I am the only Voucher Queen in my village LOL

My hubby and I both have separate Clubcards, and I just put all the vouchers in my purse and use them with my card (extra points for buying stuff type vouchers, not the deals) and have never had a problem with them, although we obviously share the last name, it does state clearly that he is a Mr, and I quite clearly am not!!0

Yes I do the same sparky67 if I do not have my keyfob on me, and I have never had a problem either. We have 4 clubcards registered to this address.
I have just ordered just under £450 worth of MFI vouchers online and used vouchers from all 4 clubcard accounts, the on-line form took all my vouchers too so that is worth knowing as I know some people have wondered whether it was OK to do that.

Glad to see this info! Was thinking I would have to ring customer services on Monday to ask if I could put some of my vouchers toward DS magazine subscription (he only buys petrol so doesn't get that many) Only to find the answer here!!! Should have known really!0 -
