voluntary termination

Looking to do a VT, 2 years into a 3 yr agreement. Jaguar finance have just informed me this could effect my credit rating, could any body please advise if this is the case. Also, any notes on if VT's have been easy and stress free.

  • It will be noted on your credit rating that you have Voluntary Terminated. When applying for future car finance, you may be rejected on the basis that you are more likely to hand the car back.

    Voluntary terminations are usually simple, just notify Jaguar you want to do it and they will arrange to collect it. You may find theyll charge you for scratches etc and maybe excess milage depending on your contract.
