Uses for rubbish!

This morning, as I chucked the plastic bag and yellow sticky tape from the Tesco value bread in the bin, I wondered if they could be reused?
I actually have taken my sandwiches to work in the used bread bag in the past. My Mum keeps one on the draining board for small kitchen rubbish, peeling etc, then takes it to the bin later.
I have some special (old) Xmas decorations, which I store in egg boxes- which can also be used for seeds.
Last spring, I grew my sweet pea seeds in compost inside loo roll holders, standing up in margarine containers in the poch.
Yogurt cartons also used for seedings.
Small sewing bits and bobs in the plastic reel box with lid that you can buy with blank CDR & DVD-R's.
Knitting needles, stored inside the roll from turkey foil.
Bird food put into the string bags that some oranges/lemons come in-no good for me as Tommy would eat the birds!
Tonight, I've finished knitting a teddy and I'm going to stuff him from the contents of a pillow, that has gone too uncomfortable and lumpy to sleep on.
Pins and buttons are stored in camera film cases, and labbled.
I have a bag of those polystyrene chips that come round breakable objects, which is used as part of a snow/Xmas decoration on a window sil in December.
The list goes on....but what else can I do with those bread plastic bags???

I reuse my old bread bags for my bread I make in the breadmaker, it's not very original though ! . x0

Do you turn them inside out, or just clean them well??
I was thinking of green hairy crumbs at bottom of bag?:j0 -

Give the bag a good shake (you can turn it inside out to get them all out, then back again) and it should last you for a good week of sandwiches!!!!0 -

I used to do this, my children used to complain like nothing on earth!0 -
You know the plactic coated metal bag ties you get round a bag of bagels for example?
I save these to use to close plastic bags in the freezer.
My friend has just called in, she burns a lot of night lights in oil burners, and wonders what she can use the metal night light holder for?
All I could think of was if you wanted to make home made candles, and use them as a mold?
Or what about, molding scraps of warm soap, pushing the soap into the holder, cooling down, and using a soap for travel when you go away-especially if its self catering, and there are no freebie hotel items in the bathroom.:j0 -

As a Weegie I am forced to quote the lyrics from (Hue & Cry's) Deacon Blue's 'Dignity'! :j
"There's a man I meet walks up our street
He's a worker for the council
Has been twenty years
And he takes no lip off nobody
And litter off the gutter
Puts it in a bag
And never seems to mutter
And he packs his lunch in a Sunblest bag
The children call him bogie
He never lets on
But I know 'cause he once told me
He let me know a secret about the money in his kitty
He's gonna buy a dinghy
Gonna call her Dignity"
Weegies have, for years, wrapped their 'piece' in the wrapping from bread (usually plain bread but the posh ones had pan bread).
