It's not economy as such, but I like the ratandmouse blog about house prices etc. They seem to pick up on most of the current stories in the news.

And have you signed up to the MoneyWeek daily e-mail?

I haven't seen the rat and mouse blog. something to look for, thank you.

I'm not really looking to become an active poster/contributer on another forum, but I do like the facility to ask questions, and even just watch as others develop an idea or train of thought. As I'm probably not going to contribute to much it doesn't really matter if the talk is slightly above my head and hard to understand, thats sort of what I'm looking for, but hopefully with chinks of humour or things that are easier to get: for a way in to understanding the tougher concepts.

I get the Motley Fool emails and the articles are ok. Some of them are stating the bleedin' obvious.
Before finding MSE, I thought Motley Fool was good but it's full of adverts and they stuff they push isn't necessarily the best.

I tend to get the information from here first and I'm not just saying that. MSE is a genuinely useful website. The forums are a source of moral support, particularly for people in debt.
