Argos Mis Price - Tresemme Hair styling set - 11 piece

Hi

Have posted this in money saving local area, norwich.

Went to Argos today in Norwich (Riverside) and they had mispriced an 11 piece hair set (irons, hair clips, curling etc). It was reduced from 29.99 to 14.99 but they had it on the Mothers Day gift shelf at 12.49.

I was told I was lucky as they had to sell it to me at the lower price. However, if the point of sale signs are centrally printed, maybe there are other mistakes in other stores?

Good luck!

  • thye only had to sell it to you at that price if you had already bought the item. If they notice the error at the till before you pay then they can refuse. If it was a posh price ticket on a major display, then likely its the wrong price sent from head office, so other stores will be affected:)
  • yeah we usually give the customer the item at the wrong price if they spotted it. its in our training to keep the customer happy. but obvsiouly if its a lot of money difference then we can't give them it at the cheaper price. also, chances are it was just that store that have the wrong price - if it was a red and white ticket in a plastic thing, a lot of stores print their own as well as get some sent in. but well worth looking around just in case!
