    Hi all

I used to have problems with my lentils not blending as I thought they would. I read on here somewhere that if you're cooking them in salty liquid (and I think tomatoey liquid) it takes longer. So, I now do as hamstercheeks does and partially cook them in a small pot with just water. I also cook on slow for about 3 or so hours.

I always part boil my lentils if I am using them in my SC. When it's on low ALL day I've found they still aren't quite soft enough. I boil them for 5-10 mins first and then add them to the SC.
