Hi I am on school placement and will be leaving in 2 weeks time and I wanted to get everyone that has helped me thank you presents but as a student am on a tight budget. I have 7 adults to buy for and then 30 children. I was going to make the children some party bags with some sweets etc in them, does anyone know where I could get party bag stuff in bulk from?
I also want to buy 2 of those adults special presents but not too expensive as they have really helped me. Any ideas will be so gratefully appreciated.
Thank You xx

Whenever I've done party bags I usually go into £ shop by a pack of the spangle pencils and rubbers rulers etc and put one of each and a little choc bar in each bag... Can do 30 party bags for about £6 if your lucky
Buy a tin of sweets for the adults to share
Its a really lovely idea of yours.0 -

have a look in the pound shop , 99p shop or even supermarket they don't cost that much.
In Tesco atm there are bags of swizzels chews, lollipops & haribo mini bags for a quid!0 -
I'm guessing you're talking primary here? one idea that i saw mentioned on TES once that i thought was lovely was to get the children seeds or a plant or something that they can both nurture and learn from. Or maybe something for wet play days like a special game?
as for your mentors and co, asda had a great offer on with 3 bottle of wine for £10 over christmas, it's worth keeping an eye out for things like that and stocking up. their own brand flaked truffles cost £1 and are heavenly. alternatively, is there anything you could buy them as a collective present, for the staffroom maybe, and then get a little something extra for the two who've really helped you? one of my friends bought a toaster for the staffroom as they didn't have one! an unusual gift which i bet will always be remembered just for being so downright odd :rotfl:know thyselfNid wy'n gofyn bywyd moethus...0 -
