One single piece of evidence to back the theory up is I have just accepted an offer on a property I am selling that is around .5 per cent higher than an offer I refused 12 months ago.

  • The fact that he 'called the bottom' last time doesn't necessarily mean he will get it right this time.

In the nineties if you had shaved ten monkeys, put them in suits, and then gott them to call the bottom, at least one would probably have got it right. Would you then hang on their every word?

You should set up a political party - The Monkey party, all candidates will just be monkeys shaved and put into a suit or dress and I bet they would do a better job than any of the current lot

So by the same logic, if you had an offer in 2002 and turned it down, and then got a 0.5% lower offer in 2003, would that make 2003 the peak?
